Stories of Black Men At Work.
Honest conversations with Black men about making a living, raising families, overcoming setbacks, and finding purpose. From the men still putting in the work to those reflecting on retirement, we share the stories and lessons worth passing on.
Meet The host
Darius Brown
I'm Darius Brown, a husband, father, CDL driver, and founder of Black Man Working. After more than 14 years driving and working at a job. I know what it means to work long days, provide for a family, and keep building toward something of your own.
I created Da Grind because I want to hear from the men who have been putting in the work: teacher, the coach, the driver, the first responder, and the retired man with a lifetime of lessons to share.
I'm still on my own journey, too. My purpose is to listen, ask honest questions, and give these men space to be seen and heard. I want every conversation to leave someone feeling understood and give the next generation something they can forward.
WHO DESERVES THEIR FLOWERS?
Nominate a Black man whose work, sacrifice, leadership, or service deserves recognition. Selected stories may be featured on Black Man Working Wednesday and considered for Da Grind Podcast.
